But I’ve been disappointed far too many times in going around big galleries and making an effort to be more informed of what the official art world is currently about. Modern art has gone down a very boring path. There are a lot of great artists out there, no doubt, but in general, the modern art world makes me go into a deep coma.
I’ve seen so much stuff that is artificially presented and plastered there by force and calculation. Too much stuff hanging around where instead of seeing the art, I just see some curator feeling shiny and “avant-garde” about himself.
